Motorcycle Accident in Lordstown Claims Life
LORDSTOWN – A tragic motorcycle accident occurred on State Route 45 Saturday afternoon, resulting in the death of a Salem man.
According to the Lordstown Police Department, 64-year-old Ronald Shasteen was riding southbound on Route 45 when a car, driven by 76-year-old Karen Willaman, pulled onto the road from a business and struck him. The collision happened around 12:55 p.m.
Sadly, Shasteen was fatally injured in the crash, prompting an investigation by the Lordstown Police. The Lordstown Fire Department and the Trumbull County Coroner’s Office also assisted at the scene.
