$300,000 Investment by Catholic Medical Center Enhances Dental and Healthcare Access for Manchester’s At-Risk Residents

Catholic Medical Center (CMC) is continuing its support for essential health services through a $300,000 investment aimed at low-income residents and those at risk of homelessness in Greater Manchester. This funding is part of a larger $2 million commitment to support the Poisson Dental Facility and the Health Care for the Homeless Program, bringing the total contribution to $600,000.

The Poisson Dental Facility offers preventive and restorative dental care to low-income individuals who might otherwise lack access to such services. It focuses on early intervention to prevent serious dental issues.

Meanwhile, the Health Care for the Homeless Program provides comprehensive medical and behavioral health support to those experiencing homelessness, working to eliminate barriers to essential care.

John Skevington, CEO of CMC, highlighted the importance of these programs in ensuring that vulnerable residents receive compassionate and high-quality care. Dominique Rust, executive director of the Catholic Health Alliance of Greater Manchester, expressed gratitude for the continued support, emphasizing that it ensures the community’s most vulnerable receive the care they need.

This funding is part of a broader initiative by CMC and HCA Healthcare to enhance health and well-being throughout the Greater Manchester area, with more than $1.5 million invested in various community priorities since joining HCA in 2025.
