If you’ve seen the first season of American Horror Story, then you’ll know that leather plays a pretty big role in the series. Clearly, newcomer Paul Anthony Kelly has been doing his homework.
The Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. & Carolyn Bessette star joins AHS for its 13th season, subtitled 13, which premieres tonight with three new episodes. This marks Kelly’s second collaboration with mega-TV showrunner Ryan Murphy and he joins a few other starry new members of the show, like Alex Consani, Avantika, and Madelaine Petsch.

Last night, Kelly attended the American Horror Story: 13 premiere event at the Hotel Chelsea in New York City, where he showcased a sultry all-black look, stepping away from his days of dressing like JFK Jr.
While 2025 may have seen the rise of kinky leather boots thanks to Saint Laurent, Kelly opted for a pair of stylish leather pants, signaling that fall has officially arrived in the Big Apple.

Styled by Warren Alfie Baker, Kelly’s skintight trousers, blazer, and accessories were all Hermès. He completed his look with matching Jacques Marie Mage sunglasses and Chelsea boots, highlighting his royal-blue croc-leather Vacheron Constantin watch for a splash of color.
AHS may have some covering their eyes, but there’s certainly nothing to fear whenever Kelly hits a red carpet.
