Famous Developer’s Son Faces $7 Million Lawsuit for Allegedly Hitting Beachgoer While Watching Lifeguard

Jack Farrell, son of celebrity developer Joe Farrell, is facing a $7 million lawsuit after allegedly running over a beachgoer while distracted by a lifeguard. The incident occurred on August 18 at West Cameron Scott Beach in Bridgehampton, New York, while Farrell was driving a company pick-up truck.

Court documents reveal that Jack was reportedly focused on the lifeguard when he inadvertently struck a beachgoer lying in the sand. Eyewitness accounts suggest he narrowly avoided hitting another person nearby. The lawsuit, filed on September 18, is brought by Pablo Ibanez Fernandez, who claims to have sustained serious injuries and is seeking $6 million in damages, while his brother, Alberto, is seeking an additional $1 million for emotional distress.

The lawsuit cites unlawful driving on the beach as part of the legal issues Farrell may face. Farrell Buildings, the family company, is known for constructing luxury homes in the Hamptons, attracting high-profile clients.
