Dolly Parton’s nephew, Bryan Seaver, has been removed from the security team responsible for her estate following her passing on August 25. Seaver had been overseeing the protection of Parton’s Nashville properties, but his role has now been taken over by the DP Dean Trust team. He partially blames Parton’s longtime manager, Danny Nozell, for the sudden changes in management.
In a video shared on the day of her death, Seaver expressed that Dolly opened many doors for their family and that he was honored to announce her passing as she had asked him to do. Following her death, Nozell confirmed that there are ongoing plans for projects in Parton’s name, including a Dolly avatar show and a biopic.
Additionally, on September 11, the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority announced plans to rename Nashville International Airport in honor of Dolly Parton.
