Reasons Behind the Reopening of a Bollywood Celebrity Manager’s Death Case from 2020

Disha Salian, the former manager of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, tragically passed away on June 9, 2020, after falling from a Mumbai high-rise. Initially ruled a suicide, her case has since gained renewed scrutiny. Satish Salian, her father, has long argued it was not a suicide but rather a murder linked to powerful individuals in Bollywood and politics.

After a petition by Satish, the Bombay High Court ordered the reopening of the investigation into her death due to alleged police misconduct and undisclosed evidence. The ruling highlighted significant discrepancies in the police investigation, including the absence of blood at the scene and inconsistencies in the injuries listed in the autopsy.

The case has gained notoriety, especially given the subsequent death of Sushant Singh Rajput just a week later, which was also ruled as suicide amidst allegations of mental health issues. Satish Salian has connected both deaths to a conspiracy involving criminal activities, claiming Disha might have had incriminating information pertaining to influential figures.

The recent registration of a First Information Report (FIR) against unnamed politicians and police officers marks a pivotal moment in the ongoing fight for justice for Disha. Her father continues to seek transparency and accountability, expressing his hope for a thorough investigation and justice for his daughter’s tragic demise.
