Rams’ Coach Sean McVay Critiques His Own Travel Arrangements Ahead of 49ers Game

The Los Angeles Rams faced travel challenges leading to a defeat against the San Francisco 49ers in their Week 1 matchup in Australia. The 49ers arrived a week early and looked fresh, while the Rams, arriving just a day before, struggled throughout the game. However, the Rams bounced back in Week 2 with a convincing 28-6 win against the New York Giants. Head coach Sean McVay acknowledged the impact of their travel plans on the earlier loss, humorously referring to himself as a “dumbass coach.” The two teams will meet again under normal circumstances when the Rams visit Levi’s Stadium in Week 14.
