Adopt Hydrangea or Polyester: The Humane Society of York County’s Featured Pets
FORT MILL, S.C. — The Humane Society of York County is showcasing two special animals this week who are eagerly searching for loving forever homes:
Cat of the Week: Hydrangea
Hydrangea is a sweet, affectionate young cat, estimated to be around 10 months old. Rescued as a stray, she’s quickly adjusted to life in the Cat Lounge. Described by the shelter staff as an old soul, Hydrangea may need a little time to warm up, but her patience is beautifully rewarded with affection. She prefers a quieter setting and is not fond of sharing space with other cats. Hydrangea is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready for adoption.
Dog of the Week: Polyester
Meet Polyester, a handsome Husky mix who was found wandering the streets before being taken to the shelter. At approximately 6½ years old, he has had a tough journey but remains a sweet, expressive dog who loves to engage with people. Though he can be reserved initially and dislikes confinement, Polyester has the potential to become a devoted companion. Some stress-related stomach issues are manageable in a loving home. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready for a fresh start.
