Meet Dolly Purrton: Pet of the Week!
WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) – This week, we visited Emily’s Legacy Rescue to introduce you to Dolly Purrton, our featured Pet of the Week!
Dolly is a six-month-old female tortoiseshell cat who arrived at Emily’s Legacy from a shelter in Iowa Park. Known for their “tortitude,” tortoiseshell cats can be quite feisty, but Dolly defies that stereotype with her sweet and laid-back demeanor.
Katie from Emily’s Legacy Rescue describes Dolly as “very sweet and adorable, lovable,” adding that while she has some playful kitten energy, she remains calm and easygoing.
Dolly could be a great match for someone seeking a more relaxed feline companion. Although her compatibility with dogs or other cats hasn’t been fully tested, she seemed unbothered by them during her recent vet visit.
Interested in welcoming Dolly into your home? You can meet her on Saturday, September 19th, at Petco from 12 to 4 p.m. If she’s not available at that time, the rescue can help arrange a meet-and-greet.
Don’t miss this chance to meet a wonderful kitty who’s ready to find her forever home!
