Join Us for the Bev Bright Memorial Pet Walk!
The Lake County Humane Society invites you to our annual Bev Bright Memorial Pet Walk on Sunday, September 27th at 1:00 PM at the Two Harbors Fairgrounds. This event is our biggest fundraiser of the year, so it’s a perfect time to start collecting pledges from friends, family, and neighbors.
Join the Fun—No Donations Required!
If you prefer not to collect donations, feel free to join the festivities! We’ll have Rustic Inn pie, bingo, raffle baskets, and numerous family-friendly activities. To receive pledge forms, message the shelter on social media or check local bulletin boards around town.
A 20-Year Tradition
For over 20 years, this event has been held in memory of Bev Bright, a dedicated volunteer and board member who passed away in 2012. Known for her endless love for animals and her community spirit, Bev’s legacy continues through her grandchildren, who volunteer and lead the walk each year.
Help Us Make a Difference
With over 100 participants annually, we aim to make this year’s walk the most successful yet. Proceeds directly benefit lost, abandoned, and homeless animals in Lake County.
