USC Trojans Set for Big Ten Play Against Rutgers
The USC Trojans are kicking off their Big Ten season this week, having completed their nonconference schedule with an impressive 3-0 record. They will take on Rutgers on the road this Saturday.
Adjusted Travel Plans
Head coach Lincoln Riley shared in a press conference that the Trojans will depart for New Jersey on Thursday, deviating from their usual Friday travel schedule. This decision is strategic, given the lengthy flight from Los Angeles to Newark, which takes over five hours and comes with a three-hour time difference. This extra time will hopefully allow the team to acclimatize before the game.
Learning from Mistakes
USC’s altered travel schedule might be a response to a recent misstep by the Los Angeles Rams, who lost a game in Australia after arriving the day before.
Game Details
The matchup is set for kickoff at 12:30 p.m. PT / 3:30 p.m. ET on CBS. Fans are eager to see how the Trojans perform as they transition into conference play.
