Annie Oakley is an 11-pound red Pomeranian available for adoption at the Coshocton County Animal Shelter. She was found as a stray near an Amish breeding kennel, and unfortunately, a bullet lodged in one of her legs led to an amputation.
Important Info about Annie:
- Age: Exact age unknown, but she is a young adult.
- Health: Spayed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and ticks. She tested positive for Lyme disease and is currently receiving treatment.
- Behavior: She’s friendly and calm, not yappy or hyper like many Pomeranians. She seems to get along with cats, and all family members—including other dogs—are encouraged to meet her, as her behavior around children is unknown.
- Care Needs: She will require tender loving care and monitoring of her sutures from the amputation in her new home.
Adoption Details:
Annie is ready for a loving family who can provide the aftercare she needs. She comes with a new collar and dog tags for 2026. For more information about adopting Annie or other pets, visit Coshocton County Animal Shelter or call 740-622-9741.
