Mother-daughter pair shares cultural flavors with the community at Cafecito.

Cafecito, which began as a food truck in Fort Worth’s Southside, has evolved into a vibrant community gathering space located at 401 W Magnolia Ave. Co-founder Cinthya Duran emphasizes the importance of celebrating Hispanic culture through their authentic Mexican cuisine. The venture started during COVID, inspired by her husband’s idea and driven by Cinthya’s longing for her mother’s traditional cooking.

Alongside her mother, Yaneth Sanchez, they launched their food truck, ultimately moving to Funky Town Food Hall due to overwhelming community support. Their authentic flavors resonate deeply with patrons, bringing back nostalgic memories of family gatherings.

As they transitioned to a full-service restaurant, Cinthya aimed to create a beautiful space for special occasions, balancing quality food with an inviting atmosphere. Cafecito features a coffee bar and an expanded menu, with unique offerings like pink tacos and chilaquiles.

Cinthya hopes to inspire her daughters to pursue their dreams, just as she honors her own mother’s legacy of hard work and determination. Cafecito stands as a testament to family, culture, and community spirit.
