Perk Introduces Financial Technology Product to the U.S. Market

Perk Expands Its Travel and Spend Management Platform into the US

Perk, a travel and spend management platform, has announced the expansion of its fintech product, Perk Spend, into the US market. Customers in the US already utilize the platform for over $1 billion annually on work travel and team events.

Expansion Overview

This move follows a successful launch in Europe, where 40% of new deals included the combined Travel and Spend offering. Perk anticipates similar success in the US, which currently accounts for 30% of its global new business. The company’s momentum is attributed to its unified data layer across travel, spend, and events, as well as advanced automation capabilities—96% of travel bookings and 90% of expense reports currently handled without human intervention.

Avi Meir, CEO of Perk, emphasized that “US companies are spending more on travel every year, but the tools to manage it aren’t keeping up.” He further stated, “We’ve built one AI-native travel and spend platform with agentic capabilities for how American companies actually work.”

Key Features of Perk Spend

Perk Spend offers several innovative features aimed at optimizing travel and expense management:

  • Bring Your Own Corporate Card: Customers can integrate existing corporate card programs with Perk Spend, allowing for seamless transaction reconciliation.

  • Direct Reimbursement: Employees who pay out of pocket can receive immediate reimbursement directly to their bank account, streamlining the process and eliminating payroll delays.

  • Global Customizable Per-Diems: The platform features intelligent per diem rates that adjust according to geographical locations, ensuring tax compliance on multicountry trips.

  • Native Integrations with ERPs: Perk connects with major ERPs like NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, QuickBooks, and SAP S4 for a smooth transaction export process.

  • Perk Card: A corporate charge card is in the pipeline, which allows for spend management controls while offering cash back and secure payments globally.

  • Rewards for Personal Card Use: Travelers can earn loyalty and credit card points by using personal cards for bookings through Perk.

Nikita Miller, Chief Product Officer, noted that finance leaders desire a balance of control and flexibility. “Perk Spend gives them real-time visibility into every dollar spent, while allowing employees to retain their corporate or personal cards and the points they’ve already earned.”

With this expansion, Perk aims to enhance the travel and expense management experience for businesses in the US, leveraging advanced technology and a user-centric approach.
