The tour promoter, Messina Touring Group, has confirmed that several venues across the remaining US dates have decided to prohibit concerts featuring Macklemore due to his recent statements. This decision could potentially lead to cancellations, affecting hundreds of thousands of fans.
Robert Kraft has publicly addressed the issue, mentioning his involvement in discussions regarding Macklemore’s performance at Gillette Stadium. Kraft indicated that the stadium would not host Macklemore given his recent performances and what Kraft termed a broader history of antisemitic rhetoric and imagery.
As of now, Ed Sheeran has not made any public comments on the matter.
