ICv2: Alliance Entertainment Broadening Its Presence in the Collectibles Market

Alliance Entertainment reported significant growth in collectibles sales, achieving a 45% increase with total sales of $32 million for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026. This growth is partly attributed to the hiring of at least seven employees from Diamond Comic Distributors following its bankruptcy.

Despite this progress, Alliance faces competition from Sparkle Pop LLC, which acquired Diamond’s distribution assets and operates as Diamond Select Brands. Additionally, other competitors like Entertainment Earth and Universal Distribution are also in the market.

CEO Jeffrey Walker noted that while the company acquired Handmade by Robots, most sales growth came from products sourced from other companies. Ongoing litigation with Sparkle Pop concerns the hiring of Diamond employees.

Overall, Alliance Entertainment’s total sales rose by 8% to $1.15 billion, although net income fell to $13.1 million from $15.1 million the previous year.
