Grovetown Hosts First Latin Festival
GROVETOWN, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – On Saturday afternoon, Grovetown celebrated its inaugural Latin Festival, bringing together music, food, dancing, and family activities to the community.
The event welcomed non-Latin attendees as well, providing a unique opportunity for everyone to explore different cultures and celebrate the city’s diversity.
City Council Member Jacqueline Rivera-Player expressed her joy at the diverse turnout. “I feel very happy because I didn’t know that this is going to be the turnout to have a lot of people here from different cultures,” she said. “Even the English people who only speak English, they’re here, too. So we are happy that the whole community is here.”
Rivera-Player hopes this festival will become an annual tradition in Grovetown.
