An energy worker was tragically killed, and another was injured in an attack in the Sumy region. The incident occurred as a repair crew from the regional electricity distribution company was working on a damaged power grid in the Konotop district. According to Oleh Hryhorov, the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, the vehicle carrying the repair team was targeted by an enemy strike.
The deceased worker, a 53-year-old driver, has been remembered with heartfelt condolences from Hryhorov. The injured worker, a 50-year-old electrical technician, is receiving medical treatment in the hospital.
