Rogers and OEG Sports & Entertainment recently announced a 10-year extension of their partnership, ensuring that Rogers Place will remain the home of the Edmonton Oilers until 2036. This announcement coincides with the 10-year anniversary of Rogers Place, during which Rogers will give away over 1,500 tickets to Oilers games, beginning with 300 tickets for the Home Opener against Vancouver on September 29.
To kick off the season, Rogers will host Oilers Fan Day on September 19, featuring an open practice, alumni meet and greet, and merchandise sale. A new addition this season is the Rogers Goal Cam, allowing fans to capture and share their reactions to Oilers goals in real time.
This extension builds on a significant sponsorship deal from 2013, which includes extensive branding and advertising throughout Rogers Place. In addition, Rogers recently secured national media rights for NHL games in Canada through 2038, while Sportsnet continues as the exclusive regional broadcaster for the Oilers until 2035.
