Bob Barker Wasn’t Lying
At the end of The Price Is Right, the late Bob Barker famously reminded viewers to “help control the pet population, have your pet spayed or neutered.” This message still resonates today, and the Yakima Humane Society provides affordable services to assist pet owners in our community.
“Last month, our Yakima Humane Society Spay and Neuter Clinic altered 756 animals! That means more than 750 dogs and cats will no longer contribute to the pet overpopulation problem.” – Yakima Humane Society Facebook Page
Addressing pet overpopulation is critical as it can strain resources and pose health risks within the Yakima Valley community.
