The Mishawaka Common Council is set to discuss two exciting development projects on Monday night.
-
Dogleg Social: Proposed by Ryan Kring, this entertainment complex aims to blend high-tech golf with craft food and drinks in a relaxed social environment. It will be located at the northwest corner of Douglas Road and Veterans Parkway, next to Juday Creek Golf Course and the Mishawaka Fieldhouse. The venue, which is expected to open this spring, will feature an elevated, netted driving range akin to Top Golf.

Redevelopment of USA Skate Center: Developer David Farhan is looking to transform the former USA Skate Center, which has been vacant since its closure in 2016. The building, originally opened in 1975, spans 24,000 square feet in a prime location but currently limits zoning to only two businesses. Farhan proposes a zoning change to allow the division of the building into seven separate units, each with street-facing façades, resembling a traditional strip mall.
These developments aim to enhance the local entertainment and business landscape, promoting community engagement and economic growth.
