Animals with Promise: Introducing Bushing, Beans, Kinski, and Rosalynn

Pets with Potential: Featured Cats from Sullivan County Humane Society

CLAREMONT, N.H. (WCAX) – This week, we’re shining a spotlight on four lovable cats at the Sullivan County Humane Society, each looking for their forever homes.

Bushing
Bushing has been at the shelter for seven months and is one of its longest residents. Although she’s shy and finds the shelter environment a bit stressful, staff believe she’ll thrive in a comfortable home. She gets along well with other cats and may adapt to dogs, too. Bushing would do best with older children who understand her need for space.

Beans
At 4 years old, Beans is a total love bug! She enjoys company but is also a comfort eater, so a home that can monitor her eating habits is essential. Beans is friendly with kids and other cats, but her compatibility with dogs is still unknown.

Kinski
Kinski is a quirky 3-year-old male who recently recovered from surgery after being hit by a car. He’s now ready for an indoor home to keep him safe. Although Kinski is FIV-positive, shelter staff assure that cats with FIV can lead long, healthy lives. His playful antics are sure to bring joy to his new family!

Rosalynn
This 3-year-old cat was rescued from a shed and was initially very frightened. She has shown significant improvement and is ready to flourish in a loving home. Rosalynn has a bit of a bossy streak, so older children would be a better fit for her. She’s open to living with other cats and dogs with the right introduction.
