Skyline Valley – Environment Refresh
The Skyline Valley environment has undergone significant improvements. Expect reworked landscapes, new trails, and abundant vegetation, all beautifully enhanced by optimized lighting and weather elements. Recommended spots include:
- Three Ponds
- Grindstone Arch
- Hawksbill Weather Station
- Old Crimora Mines
- Rapidan Camp
- Dark Hollow Manor
Skyline Valley – Bounty Hunting
Visit “The Trading Post” to meet Marshal Canton, a unique Robo-Brain ready to assist you in taking down new threats. This update brings new factions like Super Mutants and Mothman Cultists, expanding the bounty hunting experience across Skyline Valley.
Skyline Valley – New Collectible Questline
While exploring the revamped Skyline Valley, you may encounter mysterious glass canisters. Collect these to embark on an intriguing adventure as you uncover their purpose!
Gameplay Changes
- Updated Pet XP System: Pets now earn XP alongside players, with notable changes to how they level and interact.
- Movement and Commands: Pets can move to ping locations even when not in combat, and new settings improve how they follow or respond to commands.
- User Interface Improvements: Enhancements to the Pets progression menu and improved accessibility.
Important Note: Medic weapons can heal Pets, so report any issues you encounter with healing them.
Known Issues
- Ping to move may not function properly at great distances.
- Inconsistent Pet XP granting.
- Help pages are yet to reflect the updated XP system.

Pets have returned to the Public Test Server (PTS) with new features for an engaging companion experience. Now, you can level up your pets and unlock passive abilities that enhance gameplay during adventures.
