Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly have expressed support for a civilian version of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, suggesting that ITV should definitely consider the idea. During their podcast Hanging Out With Ant and Dec, they discussed the ongoing fan requests for such a version. Ant stressed that the show could thrive by allowing audiences to become familiar with the contestants, similar to Big Brother, where public engagement grows as they learn about participants.
As casting for the next series of I’m A Celebrity is underway, with the show expected to air in November, several celebrities have already been linked to the lineup, including Jesy Nelson and Ben Stokes. The show is now in its 26th year and remains one of ITV’s most popular offerings.
ITV has previously explored various spin-offs, including an All Stars version filmed in South Africa, and an upcoming series titled The Wild Frontier, set to debut in 2027, featuring celebrities in the Canadian wilderness.
