At approximately 3:35 a.m. on Wednesday, deputies were dispatched to a gas station on West Rockland Road due to an armed robbery. Upon arrival, they learned from the clerk that five masked and gloved individuals had entered the store and used sledgehammers and crowbars to break into several gaming machines.
The suspects also tampered with a cash register drawer. A sixth individual stayed outside in a black SUV, which was last seen speeding south on Interstate 294.
