The film features an ensemble cast including Jai Courtney (The Suicide Squad), Emily Browning (Legend), Academy Award-winner Olivia Colman (The Favourite), and Sam Neill (Jurassic World Dominion).

Premiere and Release

After its world premiere at the Adelaide Film Festival and subsequent international premiere at SXSW, The Fox has been showcased at major festivals like Fantasia Festival, Melbourne International Film Festival, and Sydney Film Festival. Plot Synopsis

The film’s story centers around a talking fox who offers an affable hunter a chance to transform his unfaithful partner into the perfect woman, leading to unexpected consequences. The Fox marks Russo’s feature directorial debut, following his work on the cult series Danger 5 and the web series Italian Spiderman. He is also the co-creator of the upcoming animated Netflix series Dad’s House.

Quotes

Marc Goldberg from Aura Entertainment expressed enthusiasm, stating, “Dario Russo has delivered a truly unique film with THE FOX. We’re delighted to bring this originality to U.S. audiences.”

Russo added, “I am super excited to bring American audiences this cautionary comedy about the dangers of talking foxes. I hope this movie will prevent many people from trusting the next fox that comes to them with life advice.”
