Primero Games Expands Internationally with Win Systems Acquisition
Primero Games has solidified its presence in global gaming markets by acquiring the Gaming Division of Win Systems, which includes the Gold Club electronic roulette and manufacturing capabilities.
Primero Gains 3,000+ Gaming Positions
While financial terms remain undisclosed, this acquisition significantly expands Primero’s reach beyond the United States, especially in Latin America and the Caribbean. The acquired division manages over 3,000 gaming positions across key markets such as Mexico, Peru, Colombia, Puerto Rico, and Panama, maintaining existing customer relationships and operations that position Primero for further development.
The division will continue serving its current clients and offerings under the new ownership. Primero intends to integrate its own game content and technology into the acquired business.
Targeting Global Growth
Primero, which boasts studios in the U.S., U.K., and Canada, offers a range of products, including the Spark server-based gaming solution, enhanced with business intelligence tools and progressive jackpot functionality. The integration of Win Systems’ division complements Primero’s strengths, particularly as the addition of Gold Club electronic roulette broadens its product offerings.
“This acquisition is pivotal for Primero’s growth strategy toward becoming a diversified, global gaming company,” stated Chairman Mike Macke. The merger allows for resource combining to improve development and distribution of gaming products, with Win Systems’ CEO Eric Benchimol emphasizing the potential for accelerated delivery of new offerings.
The sale represents the beginning of a new era for Win Systems’ Gaming Division. Executive Chairman Dario Zutel expressed confidence in Primero’s capability to drive further international growth, ensuring continued support for existing customers while introducing new games and technologies.
