Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding on July 3 at Madison Square Garden was a star-studded affair with around 1,000 guests, all required to surrender their phones to ensure privacy. This led to a comical situation for comedian Nikki Glaser, who found herself without photographic evidence of her attendance.
During her stand-up routine in Las Vegas, Glaser humorously recounted her experience, noting her lack of mementos. She spotted the wedding cake and considered taking the remaining Travis Kelce cake topper after noticing the Taylor Swift figure was missing. Just before she could make off with the topper, she reportedly heard Tom Cruise advising her against it, adding to the night’s fun memories.
Glaser noted the rare sight of celebrities attending an event without their entourages, pointing out that even stars like Jennifer Lopez seemed surprisingly low-key. Although guests couldn’t take personal photos, they received lavish keepsakes, and the ceremony included personal touches, such as Swift’s brother serving as her man of honor and Kelce’s brother as best man.
Kelce described the celebration as “magical,” expressing gratitude to the attendees. Glaser’s experience, marked by her near-theft of a cake topper, added a unique story to the already extraordinary event.
