Fiestas Patrias: Aurora’s Two-Day Festival Celebrating Mexican Music and Culture Set for September 12-13 – Shaw Local

13th Annual Fiestas Patrias Festival

Dates: Saturday and Sunday, September 12 & 13
Location: RiverEdge Park, Downtown Aurora

Join us in celebrating Mexican Independence Day with an exciting weekend filled with live music, mariachi, and delicious food from local vendors. Notable performers include Banda Carnaval and La Maquinaria Norteña. The event also raises scholarship funds for Hispanic, college-bound residents of Aurora.

Schedule of Events:

  • Saturday: Gates open at 3:30 PM

    • 4 PM: Ballet Folklorico Quetzalcoatl
    • 5 PM: Los Creyentes del Poder
    • 6:30 PM: Grupo Furioso
    • 7:45 PM: Scholarship Recognition Ceremony
    • 8:30 PM: Headliner Banda Carnaval
  • Sunday: Gates open at 3 PM

    • 2:45 PM: Roaming Mariachi
    • 3:30 PM: Los Aces Del Norte
    • 4:30 PM: Parade of Nations
    • 5:15 PM: Grupo Mandingo
    • 6:45 PM: La Fiera de Ojinaga
    • 8 PM: El Grito
    • 8:45 PM: La Maquinaria Norteña

Tickets:

  • $20 for adults
  • $10 for children (12 and under)

Tickets can be purchased in advance at RiverEdgeAurora.com. Due to high demand, tickets may sell out and will not be guaranteed at the gate.
