Celestyal, a cruise brand, is launching a dedicated kids’ club on its ships, aimed at enhancing experiences for young passengers aged three to 16. Previously offering limited activities, the new program will feature sessions tailored to specific age groups, including arts, crafts, sports, and games. This initiative follows a successful trial during summer and will be available on select sailings in the Mediterranean, Adriatic, and Greek islands during school holidays.
Key details of the kids’ club include:
- Age Groups: Children will be divided into four categories: Little Sailors (3-5), Junior Explorers (6-9), Young Voyagers (10-12), and teenagers (13-16).
- Activities: Programming will encompass a mix of arts and crafts, sports like football and basketball, as well as more social activities such as karaoke and mini discos.
- Locations: The kids’ zones will be situated on Deck 12 of Celestyal Journey and Deck 10 of Celestyal Discovery, with some activities in additional venues.
Parents of children aged five and above will not need to stay during scheduled sessions, promoting family flexibility. Janet Parton, the vice president of marketing at Celestyal, emphasized the importance of family-friendly itineraries that allow for individual enjoyment.
