Celebrity chef Graham Elliot, known for his work with Fort Worth-based Far Out Hospitality, is launching his own venture, Commodore Tavern & Terrace. He announced this news on social media, identifying the location as 1101 W. Magnolia Ave., the site of a former wine bar. Elliot, alongside chef Charlie Rushton, aims to create a “neighborhood restaurant” focusing on exceptional food, drinks, and hospitality.
Elliot shared that this is just the beginning of his new journey. The property recently housed The Magnolia wine bar, which closed in April. Commodore Tavern joins several recent openings in the area, including Salt + Straw and Yoichi Omakase & Handroll.
Elliot previously worked at Michelin-starred restaurants in Chicago and joined Far Out in 2022, where he revamped several restaurant menus, including those at The Tavern and Cowboy Prime. His latest establishment aims to deliver a community-oriented dining experience.
