Christopher Nicks, brother of Fleetwood Mac’s Stevie Nicks, has died at 72 after a private battle with cancer. He passed away surrounded by family on Friday, with his daughter, Nixi Parkinson Nicks, announcing the news on Facebook.
Nixi shared that her father had been fighting cancer for 2.5 years and emphasized that he kept his diagnosis private to avoid worrying others. She honored his legacy, stating that he left a significant mark on many lives and that his close friends meant the world to him.
Lori Perry-Nicks, Christopher’s ex-wife and Nixi’s mother, also mourned his passing, describing him as an anomaly and expressing how much he would be missed. Nixi expressed her love for her father on Instagram, captioning a photo of them together, “Second star to the right, and straight on till morning. I love you, daddy. Rest easy.”
