ITV has announced the commissioning of a 12th series of Celebrity Catchphrase, produced by STV Studios. Stephen Mulhern will return as host, guiding celebrities in decoding various animated picture puzzles. This upcoming season will consist of ten episodes, including a special episode for Soccer Aid, with filming set for this autumn for ITV1, STV, and streaming on ITVX and STV Player.
Stephen Mulhern expressed his enthusiasm: “It’s fantastic to be doing another series… it’s packed with laughs, all the family can watch, and it raises huge amounts of money for great causes. I cannot wait! Roll on the new series.”
The previous 11th series featured numerous celebrities, including Rob Delaney and Mel Giedroyc. Gemma John-Lewis, the Entertainment & Reality Commissioner at ITV, shared her excitement for the new series, highlighting its appeal to viewers of all ages. David Mortimer, CEO of STV Studios, added that the show’s charm lies in its warmth, humor, and interactive nature, promising more engaging content for both loyal and new audiences.
