Japanese actor Kentaro Sakaguchi has surprised fans with the news of his marriage. On September 6, he shared a personal message on his fan club website, stating that he has married the Japanese woman he had been dating, while expressing his commitment to continue his work as an actor.
Born in 1991, Sakaguchi began as a model before transitioning to acting. He’s known for his roles in works such as The 100th Love with You and Tokyo Tarareba Girls. In 2024, he gained significant popularity for his poignant performance in the melodrama What Comes After Love.
He recently appeared in the drama kiDnap GAME, which is set to premiere in October.
Last year, Sakaguchi faced controversy surrounding allegations of two-timing, which were reported by Shukan Bunshun. He had been in a four-year relationship with a hairstylist, accused of secretly meeting another actress, Mei Nagano, despite living with his previous partner.
