Following a series of dog attacks, the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department carried out inspections on a Saturday.
Highlighting the concerns, Mark Mak, a civil servant, expressed his approval for the enforcement, stressing the importance of leashing dogs to prevent potential incidents. He stated, “The inspections and enforcement are good for protecting the safety of people and pets. They should be continued as we don’t want to see any more tragedies.”
Likewise, finance worker Kim Chan emphasized the significance of leashing his nine-year-old labradoodle, Charcoal, even though the dog is well-behaved. He believes it’s essential for the safety of his pet and others around.
