Major Hartford Blaze Forces 20 Residents to Evacuate; Multiple Pets Rescued, According to HFD

A recent fire resulted in the removal or escape of six dogs and one cat, while another cat remains unaccounted for. Firefighters managed to rescue one dog, which was subsequently treated by medical personnel and taken to a veterinarian. Utilities at the property are being addressed by Connecticut Natural Gas and Eversource. The Hartford Fire Marshal’s Office is currently investigating the cause of the fire.
