The Dunn County Humane Society will host a one-day low-cost pet microchipping event on Saturday, Sept. 12, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Markquart Motors in Menomonie. Microchipping will be available for just $5 per pet. This initiative aims to help reunite lost pets with their owners quickly. Pet owners are advised to bring dogs on leashes and cats in secure carriers. Pre-registration and pre-payment for the microchips can be done online HERE.
