Acer’s new Predator Atlas 7 intends to disrupt the 7-inch portable gaming device market.

Acer has introduced the Predator Atlas 7, a compact gaming handheld that complements the larger Atlas 8. Unveiled during IFA in Berlin, this device promises flagship performance while being easier to handle.

Key Features:

  • Display: The Atlas 7 features a 7-inch 16:9 FHD touchscreen with a 120Hz refresh rate and brightness up to 500 nits. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.
  • Ergonomics: Redesigned grips, a larger palm-rest area, recessed keys, and an anti-slip surface enhance comfort during extended gaming sessions.

Performance:

  • The device can be configured with an Intel Arc G3 Extreme processor and up to Intel Arc B390 graphics.
  • Options include up to 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, with a maximum battery option of 80Wh. The Atlas 7 weighs under 750 grams.

Cooling & Connectivity:

  • A dual-fan cooling system ensures optimal performance.
  • Connectivity options comprise two Thunderbolt 4 ports, a microSD card reader, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 5.4.

Additional Offers:

  • Buyers will receive two months of Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass, after which a subscription is required.

Availability:

  • Pricing has not been announced, but the Predator Atlas 7 is expected in North America in Q4 2026.
