The Rainbow Bridge Walk is set to return to Buckeye Woods Park on Sunday, September 20, providing a heartfelt opportunity for families grieving the loss of their beloved pets. This annual event, founded in 2012 by Char Arthur, has become a cherished tradition in Medina County, allowing pet owners to honor their companion animals and connect with others who understand their sorrow.

Event Highlights:

  • Pet Memorial Blessing: A respectful ceremony to remember pets.
  • Remembrance Activities: Engaging events to honor the memory of pets.
  • Pet-Themed Music: Enjoy tunes that celebrate the joy pets bring to our lives.

Participants are encouraged to bring a photo of their pet and wear yellow, symbolizing the happiness their companions brought.

Local grief support resources will also be available to assist attendees during this difficult time.
