Wahlberg expressed his nostalgia for California, especially its summertime, while emphasizing that prioritizing his kids’ well-being was the driving force behind his move to Las Vegas in 2022.
In his recent appearance on “The Shop” podcast, he mentioned the flexibility of auditions and filming taking place in various locations, reducing the need for proximity to Hollywood. Wahlberg also shared his excitement about how moving to Las Vegas allows his children to engage in hobbies such as golf and basketball.
Despite his move, Wahlberg still misses Los Angeles, including its weather, restaurant variety, and friends, with plans to return regularly.
Wahlberg isn’t alone in his sentiments; several celebrities, like Jessica Biel, Justin Timberlake, Lindsay Lohan, and George Clooney, have also chosen to relocate from Los Angeles.
