Tropical Weather Update
Location: Orlando, Fla.
An area of low pressure is producing disorganized shower and thunderstorm activity in the Western Atlantic. Some development of this system is possible in the coming days as it drifts northwestward, then accelerates northward early this week.
Where:
Located a few hundred miles southeast of Bermuda, it is expected to remain well east of the island.
Impacts:
The disturbance is unlikely to affect the U.S. directly but may cause rougher ocean conditions around Bermuda. Currently, there’s a 30% chance of development over the next 7 days as it interacts with a high-pressure ridge in the Atlantic.
