Channel 4 has announced a celebrity edition of the reality series Handcuffed: Last Pair Standing, set to be called Celebrity Handcuffed, hosted by Jonathan Ross. This new format will feature famous figures paired with individuals who have opposing views and lifestyles, competing for a cash prize while handcuffed together 24/7.
The show follows the success of the civilian version that launched earlier this year, which garnered over two million views, especially appealing to the 16-34 demographic. The celebrity edition will include interesting pairings such as former glamour model Katie Price with politician Suella Braverman, ex-footballer Neil Ruddock with drag queen Bimini, and more.
Produced by Fremantle’s 72 Films, Celebrity Handcuffed is set to premiere next year. Fremantle also manages the international distribution rights for the show.
