Capgemini America Faces Lawsuit Regarding 401(k) Plan Investment Choices

Capgemini America Inc. is facing a proposed class action lawsuit from employees who claim the company’s 401(k) plan included expensive and poorly-performing investment funds. The lawsuit alleges that Capgemini employed a “haphazard process” to assemble an inadequate investment lineup, leading to excessive fees and disappointing returns for workers. The plaintiffs, James Russo and Pierre Roulier, assert that the plan has lost over $75 million due to these unfavorable investments in the past six years. This complaint was filed in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York.
