KC Pet Project Critically Full: Urgent Call for Help
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — KC Pet Project needs your support. The shelter is currently at critical capacity, with 254 dogs in their care and just two open kennels available.
Since Sunday, 93 dogs have arrived, while only 40 have been adopted out. The shelter has maximized all available space for the dogs.
Adoption Special
From October 1 to October 4, adoption fees will be waived for large dogs (40 pounds and over), sponsored by Hill’s Pet Nutrition. Each adopted dog will come with a pet parent kit filled with food, toys, and more.
How You Can Help
- Adopt: Check out the available dogs on the KC Pet Project website.
- Foster: Temporarily caring for a dog can create much-needed space in the shelter.
Let’s come together to help these dogs find loving homes!
