Children and young people can travel for free on selected bus services in Staffordshire throughout August, as part of the Summer Bus Fare Offer. This initiative aims to help families save money during the summer holidays.
The program, part of the Government’s Great British Summer Savings initiative, allows children aged 5 to 15 to enjoy free bus travel across the county, making it easier for families to explore local attractions, participate in leisure activities, and access community events.
Andrew Mynors, Staffordshire’s Cabinet Member for Connectivity, expressed his enthusiasm for the initiative, highlighting the importance of buses in connecting people to essential services and leisure opportunities.
