Go Thames Valley Offers Free Travel for Children in August
Go Thames Valley, which includes Thames Travel, Oxford Bus Company, Carousel Buses, and Pulhams, is launching a special initiative during the month of August. As part of the government’s Great British Summer Savings campaign, the network will provide free travel for children aged 5 to 15 from August 1 to August 31.

- CityZone ‘Get Around for £1’ for passengers aged 18 and under holding a Get Around Card.
- Discounts on season and multi-trip tickets for young individuals through the company’s mobile app and key card scheme.
Family-Friendly Activities
In addition to the free travel initiative, City Sightseeing Oxford and Pearces Coaches will host engaging activities for families throughout the summer. Pearces will offer mystery tours and trips to notable attractions such as the Natural History Museum, Thorpe Park, and Bournemouth.
This initiative is aimed at making summer outings more accessible for families while promoting sustainable travel options across the region.
