Free Bus Travel for Children in August!
Children aged 5-15 across England can enjoy free bus travel on participating First Bus services from 1-31 August 2026.
Families can make the most of their summer plans as part of the Government’s Great British Summer Savings scheme. This initiative lets eligible young people travel for free, encouraging exploration of local attractions and activities.
Key Details:
- Duration: Saturday 1 August – Monday 31 August 2026
- Eligibility: Children aged 5-15 can hop on without prior registration or application.
- Unlimited Journeys: Travel for free throughout the promotional period.
Catherine De Marco, Director of Public Affairs and Public Relations at First Bus, stated:
