The tour kicked off after a company convention in Columbus, Ohio, featuring two “wellness wagons” heading west and east, with planned stops at various community events along their routes.
Stuart MacMillan, Chief Global Development Officer for Plexus, shared that the tour aims to foster community connections centered on gut health. “The company is really about gut health and wellness, but it’s also about community,” he stated, emphasizing the importance of these gatherings for people to understand gut health’s role in overall wellness.

MacMillan, who joined Plexus three to four months ago, noted a trend in the industry: “In the last couple of years, 60% of companies that introduce new products point to gut health.” He is enthusiastic about amplifying their message.
Looking ahead, MacMillan highlighted that Plexus will prioritize the gut-brain axis over the next 18 months, reflecting insights from health professionals about the gut’s crucial role in overall health.
