Central Louisiana Technical Community College Receives $1.5 Million for Jena Campus Rebuild
Central Louisiana Technical Community College (CLTCC) has been awarded $1.5 million from the State of Louisiana to facilitate the rebuilding of its Jena campus. This funding comes following a property donation from Louisiana Economic Development.
The allocated funds will support architectural work, including the design and placement of a new building on the donated land. Campus Dean Michelle Morea emphasized that this investment will aid long-term development plans for CLTCC, enhancing the educational environment for students and bolstering community growth.
Kristen Lemonie, CLTCC’s executive director of advancement, highlighted that this funding reflects the confidence in the institution’s role within LaSalle Parish and acknowledges the growth of local businesses.
Construction is projected to commence in July 2027.
