Kristin Cavallari is instilling a strong work ethic in her children by having them fly economy class while she travels in first class. During an appearance on the “Aspire with Emma Grede” podcast, Cavallari explained that she wants her kids—Camden, Jaxon, and Saylor—to understand the value of money and to work for what they want, echoing the lessons she learned from her own upbringing.
Cavallari shared examples of her sons starting small businesses, like washing windows and garbage cans, to earn money. She acknowledged their privileged lifestyle but emphasized the importance of not taking their advantages for granted. By making them fly coach, she hopes to teach them that her money doesn’t automatically become theirs and to appreciate what they have.
This approach follows a trend among some celebrities, including chef Gordon Ramsay, who similarly insists that his children fly economy to remain grounded. Ramsay argues that introducing kids to luxury at a young age can lead to entitlement and a lack of discipline.
